Abu Dhabi Pastiche
I recently spent two years teaching in the United Arab Emirates at Zayed University. It was, on the whole, a good experience and I wanted to sum up the perceptual transmutation I experienced during that time.

The over all dimensions are 28.5'' wide by 34.5'' high by 7.75'' deep. The contents include two Ortho/Litho images, an array of 198 three color LEDs, and five Arduino. The images are backlit by the lights which blink and change with an interactive variation. That variation is controlled via a range finder embedded In the work itself.

In order for the viewer to perceive the entire work they must approach it, and it does not reveal itself unless a viewer gets close to the work.
